If you are like me, you think about where to travel next all.the.time. I look forward to the days when I am not bound my a school calendar so I can travel at anytime during the year. For example, Fall travel happens much later than the first week of October in my mind. It's when the leaves begin to change, the temperatures dip just a bit, and drinking hot coffee sounds appealing, not suffocating. Though some of these don't happen in late Fall, they all have the vibe of a Fall day. Enjoy! Maybe one of these will become a bucket list item for you.

I have been to Boston a few times, but never in the Fall. Going back and being cozy in my coat and boots while the leaves fall in the breeze sounds like the perfect vacation destination. I can just see Beacon Hill and the beautiful streets in all the colors of Fall now.

Early morning on the Charles River Esplanade, 2017. It's not the best pictures, but the area is so gorgeous in Summer.

Now look at the Esplanade in Fall, thanks to @thebostoncalendar. This is a beautiful place to exercise and enjoy the setting no matter the season.

The Cotswolds, England

I love so many places in England. One place that is on my list is The Cotswolds. The Cotswolds covers five counties in central-southwest England. I think the towns, castles, and countrysides in this region are gorgeous. I would love to stay in Cirencester because of the history dating back to Roman times. Or take the train straight from London to Moreton-in-Marsh.

Just look at these beautiful scenes from @visitthecotwolds.

Germany's Oktoberfest

I know it may seem basic because everyone thinks of this as a thing to do, but there are so many things about it that aren't basic at all. First of all, it's not really in October. In 2023, it begins on September 16 and ends on October 3. So much of the fun happens in the large and small tents. Those tents are communal and lively. There are reservations options that open up in Spring. Dressing in traditional dress called Tracht is also a must. While in Munich, there are so many other things to see and do as well, so I plan to visit Dachau Concentration Camp, learn all about the history of WWI and WWII, and visit Salzburg.

I am looking forward to checking these off of my bucket list. Do have bucket list places? Let me help you plan them!
